Our supporters make our work possible - and in return, Cecily's Fund want to offer as many exciting fundraising opportunities as we can. There are a whole range of ways you can raise funds for our work in Zambia, while also having an amazing experience yourself. From organising a simple coffee morning to exploring Zambia by bike, there's something for everyone - and we'll be with you every step of the way.
Swim Serpentine launched in 2016 and Cecily's Fund was proud to be a part of it! A unique swimming event in London's Hyde Park, Swim Serpentine is from the creators of the iconic London Marathon. Last year our two swimmers raised over £2,000 for our work in Zambia. In 2017, we hope to have more places and the chance for our supporters to make an even bigger splash. We're hoping to confirm our places soon - in the meantime, be sure to register your interest.
If you'd like to fundraise for Cecily's Fund by doing something bigger - or just a bit different - then our adventure challenges are perfect. Organised by our partners Discover Adventure, these events range from tough challenges in the UK to once-in-a-lifetime trips to locations around the world. See the magnificent city of Petra in Jordan, trek the Great Wall of China, or explore beautiful Zambia by bike. Visit the Discover Adventure website to see where your fundraising can take you!
Many of our supporters like to run their own events to raise funds for Cecily's Fund, and with good reason - it's a brilliant way to get your friends and family involved in our life-changing work. You might be surprised how much something as simple as a coffee morning can raise, especially when we can provide you with beautiful notelets or Gifts of Hope to sell. Be sure to read our fundraising pack for tips, and contact us so that we can help you make your idea a success.
