Andrew Tacon RIP
Andy Tacon died suddenly on 13th March 2025 aged 68. He was in Italy where he was on a skiing holiday.
He had been our hard-working Treasurer and Trustee for twenty years. He was totally committed and a never-failing source of sound advice. This was based on his many years of experience as a professional accountant. More widely his insistence on doing things right has helped make Cecily’s Fund the respected organisation it is.
We will all miss his wisdom and experience as we go forward in these uncertain times. ‘What would Andy have suggested?’ is already – and will long remain - a recurring theme in our discussions.
Above all he was a loyal friend. We will miss him dreadfully and cherish his memory. So too will his partner Rosie, his many friends and all the local organisations he championed.
May he rest in peace.
