Southborough School, renowned for its community spirit and dedication to making a difference, has been a steadfast supporter of Cecily's Fund for over a decade. We are extremely thankful to the school and its students and staff for helping us in our mission to provide essential support for Zambian orphans, ensuring they receive the education, uniforms, and equipment they would otherwise lack.

One of the school's shining stars is Mr. Sammy Taylor, a dedicated P.E. Teacher and proud Southborough alumnus. Mr. Taylor’s journey with Cecily's Fund began in 2016 when he was a Sixth Form student. Alongside his peers, he organized cake sales, funruns, and shows, all in the spirit of supporting our charity. Today, Mr. Taylor now proudly serves as a Physical Education teacher and we hope to see him soon during our London 10K run.

Southborough's fundraising efforts are epitomized by the annual 10K London charity run, which features staff and Sixth Form students. Mr. Taylor, Headteacher Mr. Smith, and other dedicated staff have completed five 10K runs, raising thousands of pounds for Cecily's Fund. We thank Sammy and everyone else for continually supporting Cecily’s Fund through our annual marathons.

Southborough School calls on the community once again to support Mr. Taylor’s fundraising efforts. Every donation, big or small, makes a significant difference in the lives of Zambian children.
